Chex Cereal mix…and the Christmas Spirit, of bah humbug…
Today a customer that comes in on a regular basis gave all the employees a big tin of Chex Cereal mix…And a lovely Card…
Me I am grateful of any gift that I or we receive. But there are the Grinch’s and the Scrooges… That will go unnamed… in the mist.
Basically saying she could do better than that, because she is here every day…! Then I turned around and said it is the thought that counts she doesn’t have to give us anything. What makes you think she owes you something? Because I wait on her hand and foot while she is here 6 hours of the day knitting, she could have done better. And she is rich, trying to hold back but couldn’t asked how to you think she got that way, by giving her money away to greedy self centered people like yourself, oh don’t think so.
Working with a few greedy people has given me a new outlook on life. Count my own blessings because you count on anyone else to do it for you. Turn the other cheek to stupid things people say.
But always take notes; it does make good writing material. There isn’t a better story than real life. True life is stranger than fiction.
Although this is the Grinch that took the Christmas candy, also who decided to take the whole box of chocolate candy home for himself, because he really wanted it also it was something he liked. But this candy was also meant for all of us. And it was better than the Chex Cereal Mix. But how can find it in his heart to be this way, really isn’t what I find to be reason for Christmas, Jesus is the true reason for the season.
And many sayings that go along with Christmas it is better to give than receive! Really I don’t expect anything from anyone, but if I get something I am thankful.
Just a couple of days before, a lady gave me 20.00 cash and told me to have a Merry Christmas…I asked him if she meant it for me, not if it didn’t have your name on it, your meant to share that she intended it for all of us…Does the word greedy come to mind? Actually I had already put it in the tip jar, to share with my co-workers, asked him to just see what he would say.
Christmas has become so commercial the day after Halloween this year Wal-Mart was playing Christmas music. The real reason has been lost, seeing it more every year.
Sounding off, because my spirit has been broken by the people who only care about themselves, whatever happened to treat others the way you want to be treated? Have chosen to be upbeat and in the spirit at work not letting the poor lost souls bring me down.
