Lack of sleep, sleeping helps our brain produces and regulate serotonin the happiness hormone.
Sleep or getting a good night's rest, is difficult, sometimes, sleeping well or even resting well, is interrupted by life and things that throw our systems out of sorts.
So sleeping, Avoid taking sleeping pills they aren't good, getting your sleep, to live a long and healthy life, you need at least seven to eight hours of sleep a night on the average.
Sleeping less, causes heart problems, or accidents on your job, by human error. Not getting plenty of rest causes sleep deprivation, examples are medical mistakes, air disasters, trucker accidents. Also sleep deprivation causes irritability, which makes us not happy campers.
Most of the world has sleeping problems so please don't feel alone.
Do you actually know what is a normal sleeping pattern is? Or levels of sleep, first we are supposed have light sleep, followed by deep sleep, later in the sleep pattern then REM (rapid eye movement) during this time we dream, twitch, etc.
There are specific sleep problems such as insomnia; it could be caused by stress to indigestion.
So what you can do to help, first don't watch TV in your room, try to go to bed at the same time each night, or go to bed when you're drowsy. Don't use your bed for anything but sleeping and some passionate sex.
There are so many sleep disorders to deal with, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, working at night and sleeping during the day, and parasomnia.
Falling asleep is hard for us, because most of us have a lot on our minds. We wake up and can't get back to sleep, Stress and worries go hand in hand. Not getting a restful night's sleep and is still tired in the morning. Waking up really early and wanting to go back to sleep but can't.
