The business world, the school world, working, life, and marriage, everywhere at some time or another comes a stressful moments or situation…
Learning to handle stress is of the upmost importance. Stress overwhelms us, Stress kills us, and Stress is painful. It is as hard to explain as it is to live with.
There are different levels of stress; business stress and your working stress pretty much go hand and hand. The busy business world, or average work and each have its stresses.
School Stress, could be children in grade school, high school or even college. School is one of the hardest things we will ever do, peer pressure, bullies, home life, and add a lot to everyday at school.
Life Stresses, bills, rent, payments, all kinds of things, mortgages, foreclosures, too many things to actually touch on all.
Marriage or staying married, or staying happy, jealousy, spending money on stupid things, Money is a very stressful thing in marriage that couples often fight about, there are too many to actually mention them all.
First of all how much time is there to deal with the stressful situation at hand?
Having time to think about it may help, even if it is just a few moments detaching from the situation, may help. If you can go for a walk, around the block, or in the woods, get some fresh air, maybe you can sort things out more easily.
But if the cases of stress calls for immediate action remain calm, breathe deep, and most of all is be rational as possible.
These are just some pointers that have worked for me; the important thing is to identify what triggers your reaction what makes you feel angry, hostile or even frustrated.
We are what we eat, we are what we do, and we need good nutrition, rest, and exercise. Don't skip breakfast, don't stay up all night, and don't eat a whole package of doughnuts for lunch.
But most of all have that positive self talk. Can also help; try to remember that some things are within your control and that things beyond your control simply aren't worth renting space in your brain.
