Moral Compass…

These words have everything to do with life, your Moral Compass; this compass naturally lets you know what is right or wrong. Only, most of the world ignores it, and doesn’t give it a second thought. It is a feeling that you will get and when you do you will just know, and you need to let it guide you.

This compass is instilled by the people who raise us, our parents or others that have crossed our path in life, simply saying that we should know right from wrong. But it is obvious that a lot of people in this world don’t.

Some people let wrongs to be right and rights to be wrong…but the inside feeling lets you know, you shouldn’t ignore it…it is sometimes hard to do when you’re out with friends, or what you call friends. The influence of them causes you to do something that you wouldn’t normally do. Such as drinking and driving, we all should know how bad this is, but for some reason, people still get behind the wheel and drive, is it your inner voice telling you can, or is it someone else telling you that you’re not drunk?

Life does have its challenges, life has its moments. But in general, we all know what’s only it is evident by our prison system, that there are a lot of Moral Compasses are not working. Or is it because we as humans are trying to do what we can for the people in our lives. In these trying times, of no jobs, no money seemingly lost in a world that is breaking down quickly. People are doing things to survive that they know are wrong or wouldn’t normally do. But to survive some will go to great lengths to do things for food, drugs, etc.

Walking down the wrong path, influenced by the others in our lives, getting in to trouble has just become a part of life, running with the wrong crowd, thinking our parents are crazy, old, and really don’t know what they are talking about. And think we have all the answers, and are tired of being told what to do. This isn’t why, they have been around for a while, and have also watched this world change.

Then there is the saying we learn from our mistakes. If we had been listening to our Moral Compass we wouldn’t make mistakes? Don’t tell me you don’t talk to yourself, and question things you’re about to do. So what is that voice that is talking to you? Is it the voice that knows right from wrong? Some believe it to be self doubt, some believe this, because they are afraid. Sure being one that has made plenty of mistakes of my own, my path isn’t clear yet. Slowing down to listen to that inner voice attached to my Moral Compass and following it now.

The answers are in each of us, knowing, believing and listening to that voice. This voice becomes harder to hear, and easier to ignore the more times we do it.

Today get out your Moral Compass, when greeting people, driving, or just going through everyday parts of your life. Remember to and think, and listen to that inner voice known as your Moral Compass. Treat people the way you want to be treated, if you know it is wrong, or feel it is wrong don’t do it.
